Jake Greer

Jake Greer spent a lot of his child and teenage years drawing pixel-art video game graphics with limited colour palettes. Many told him that this art style was going out of fashion and there wouldn’t really be many outlets for it in the future… But it’s a good thing he didn’t really listen as it sure made creating stitch-patterns with limited yarn colours for socks a hell of a lot easier a decade later!

Jake thrives designing artistic, humorous and detailed sock patterns under the constraints of the medium and fully believes that limitations inspire creativity. He also believes that limits can absolutely be pushed and will often do exactly that in spite of the resulting odd glances he’ll get from manufacturers upon receiving his designs. Yes, that also means he is responsible for all the penises, boobs and nudity you see in Spencer Flynn’s offerings. You’re welcome.
